Our Story
Calvary is a family of faith connected to the Pentecostal Assemblies of Newfoundland and Labrador. The church is multi-generational, multi-cultural, and committed to helping people grow spiritually.
As the name suggests, Calvary's identity is grounded in the cross. The church continues to grow in ministry and engagement with the town of Clarenville.

What We Believe
These belief statements summarize the doctrine provided by Calvary Clarenville for the website.
The Bible is the inspired and only infallible and authoritative written Word of God.
There is one God, eternally existent in three persons: God the Father, God the Son and God the Holy Spirit.
In the deity of our Lord Jesus Christ, His virgin birth, His sinless life, His miracles, His vicarious and atoning death, His bodily resurrection, His ascension to the right hand of the Father and His personal future return to this earth in power and glory to rule a thousand years.
The only means of being cleansed from sin is through repentance and faith in the precious blood of Christ.
Being born-again by the power of the Holy Spirit is absolutely essential for authentic salvation.
In Water Baptism by immersion for believers as the testimony of new life in Christ.
In the holy habit of the Lord's Supper (Communion) in remembrance of the death of our Lord; which we celebrate on the 1st Sunday of each month.
The redemptive work of Christ on the Cross provides healing of the human body in answer to believing prayer. In the transforming love of Christ and the sanctifying power of the Holy Spirit, which compels believers to live a holy and upright life before God and humanity.
The Baptism of the Holy Spirit, according to Acts 2:4, is given to believers who ask for it for empowerment for Christian living & service.
In the Blessed Hope - the imminent and literal return of Jesus Christ. In the literal and physical resurrection of the dead; both the saved and the lost, one to everlasting life with God and the other to everlasting separation from God.
